The atmosphere in this former bank is more formal than most of the other Thai restaurants. Ever since it opened, the owners of Pattaya have worked on the garden in front, which adds color to this commercial section of Route 441. There is plenty of parking in back. There are quite a few Thai restaurants in the Rochester area, and each one has slight variations on the common Thai dishes. Pattaya has excellent food, especially the soups.

We keep trying to like this restaurant - we've been there 3 times - because sometimes we are starving for Thai and don't feel like driving to King and I (in Henrietta). Overall though, the food here is just not good. It does not taste fresh, the vegetables are not authentic Thai, and it is just overall disappointing. Service is good, and atmosphere is nice. Parking in back.

COMPLETELY disagree. I have been to every other thai place in town and everytime I am dissappointed and feel like I'm cheating on Pattaya. Everything is always super fresh, the service is great and even the owner is there daily seating people. Try the bay clams, the Yum Mama and a mango smoothie. No soy in this thai food!
