A café among diners, a diner among cafés, René’s is a pleasure. Try some Dutch olliebollen, small fritters with apple and raisin. Or get an egg creation served with fabulous bacon or sausage from Swan’s Market. For lunch, how about a crab cake po’ boy or some chicken croquettes? For the more straightforward, René’s has deli sandwiches and burgers, too. The quality is high and the value is solid.
