A lot of people speak of Tournedos like it’s a piece of hidden divinity in Rochester, a life-changing experience wrought through incredible food and outstanding service. It’s extraordinarily charming, with dark woods spanning the dining facility, and the banquet hall upstairs available for weddings and private parties. This place is all about class, right down to the beautiful bathrooms --- you feel as though you’ve walked backwards through time to the Victorian era. I had the special one night, clams sautéed in a spicy Portuguese sauce, and my knees buckled. For dinner, check out the rack of lamb and lamb chop combo or go for one of the delicious dry-aged steaks.

This is, hands down, the best restaurant in rochester, ny. If you are looking for that extra special dining experience, you will not be disappointed. The meal is top notch from the wine menu, appetizers, salads, steaks, seafoods and sides and desserts. I have never been disappointed. The service is spectacular. I love this place. You know the old saying, You Get What You Pay For. The portions are plently and you can always bring it home for lunch the next day.
