FALL GUIDE '08: Intro

By Eric Rezsnyak on September 17, 2008

I hope you got your relaxing in over the summer, because fall is here, and there's no shortage of things to do in and around Rochester before things freeze over. While most of our arts organizations take a break when the sun gets hot, they come out in force when the leaves start to change. There are so many amazing events coming up in the next several months that you're going to need our Fall Arts Preview to plan it all out. Enclosed you'll find almost every major art org's new season schedule. To paraphrase "Jaws," you're going to need a bigger calendar.

There's plenty to do outside the theater and the gallery, too. Fall is loaded with special events, and without the blazing heat, it's actually nice to be outside. To take part in a time-honored family tradition, check out our apple orchard/pumpkin patch guide. Or try something new by reading up on the creative hobby of letterboxing.
