JAZZ FEST 09: How to get here, where to stay, where to eat

on March 24, 2009

If you're a jazz aficionado coming to Rochester for the jazz festival, there are plenty of hotel, travel, and dining options for you to choose from. Visit Rochester -- formerly known as the Greater Rochester Visitors Association -- is a good resource for finding the best places to stay, eat, and how to get there.

For a searchable list of Rochester city hotels, click here. To find hotels in nearby suburbs --- some only a 10- or 15-minute drive from downtown --- use the pulldown menu (default setting says "Other Cities") to select the community you're looking for.

If you're hungry, City Newspaper's online restaurant guide features searchable listings of nearly 1000 area restaurants, many of them downtown, where the jazz festival takes place. Select by cuisine type, neighborhood, price range, amenities and more.
