Do you know any houses with AWESOME holiday decorations? CITY Newspaper wants to know too!
This year City will be putting together an online-only guide to outrageously decorated homes in the Greater Rochester area, and we need your help to do it. Post any information you have on local homes with crazy light displays, mind-blowing decorations, or a Griswoldian sense of grandeur to to the comments section of this article. Make sure to include addresses (cross streets at the least), and a brief description of what makes the house great.

Country Gables Road, just at the intersection with W. Markie Rd. Lots of houses on both roads offer great displays, but in particular the two houses at this intersection are engaged in a holiday arms race. Every day something new appears on the lawns of both. Great stuff.

Someone already put it but I want to second the Queens Lane house in Irondequoit. Quite an explosive display with music and everything you can think of. They were handing out candy canes for the kids. Highly recommended!

169 Orland Rd.: Full-sized sleigh with life-sized Santa waving, reindeer launching into the air, several other lights including a 7'-tall Frosty, all choreographed to Christmas music.
63 Nile Dr.: very expansive display and also choreographed to Christmas music.

Tips from readers:
"2 Wheat Hill directly off Archer Rd and Paul Rd has an amazing light display-Santas, snowmen, candy canes up and down the length of the driveway ! Definitely worth the drive to see."
"Rahway Circle in Gates off of Lyell Rd-talk about crazy lights-pretty much the whole street is ablaze in lights/color. The first house-the owner usually dresses up as Santa and hands out candy canes-but you have to wait in line-so many cars !!"

Didn't that famous guy who put on the most outrageous display off Atlantic Ave "retire" last year? A real shame. I know the kids really liked seeing his display.

Spencer Road off Winton. Several houses light up the sky. Very Griswoldian.
Also, one house on Norton St. between Culver and Waring has an impressive tropical light display, complete with lit up palm trees.
