Although the official announcement of the season is scheduled for next week, the Rochester Broadway Theatre League 2010-11 schedule leaked today when renewal forms were sent out to season ticket holders, spilling many of the details. Regardless, it's a great line-up, a mix of contemporary hits and crowd-pleasing classics.

"A Chorus Line," the longest-running American musical on Broadway, kicks off the season October 5-10, followed by the musical adaptation of Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" (November 9-14). The Tony Award-winning Latino musical "In the Heights" should add some much-needed heat come winter 2011 (January 25-30), while Disney's "The Lion King" returns for an extended engagement in the spring (March 22-April 17). The season will conclude with the classic New York take on "Romeo & Juliet," "West Side Story" (May 31-June 5).
