- On Saturday July 11, 2009 the people of Brighton United Church of Christ at 1095 E. Henrietta Road (across from Monroe Community College) will be creating a walking path/meditation center in the shape of a peace sign on the front lawn. The peace pathway will be open to all in the community who are committed to inner peace, peace in our community and in the world. The construction of the pathway will begin at 9am and completed by 5pm. There will be a dedication ceremony at 5:15pm. All are invited to help us create this community resource. Those who would like to donate stones, rocks to line the pathway are encouraged to do so as symbol of our commitment to work together toward peace.
From 12pm until 5pm Hot Dogs, Chips and Pop will be available for sale.
