- Rochester Site: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. & Support Group: 3-4 p.m.
Speakers: Erica Schmidt, Erica is the Co-Chair for the Buffalo Out of the Darkness Community Walk, and Masters student in the School of Social Work and School of Management at the University at Buffalo. She lost her father, Erich, to suicide in 2007.
Dr. Anthony Pisani, Tony is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, he also serves as Director of Strong Family Therapy Services.
Highlights: Snacks and beverages will be served from 11:00am-12:00pm, and people can choose if they wish to stay after the conference for a support group to be facilitated by Nancy Theis and Renae Carapella
Canandaigua Site: Noon-3 p.m.
Highlights: Event to be hosted by Eric Weaver, Executive Pastor at Crosswinds, AFSP-WNY Board Member, and Retired Rochester City Police Sergeant.
