"Top Model" Cycle 12 girls revealed

Finally! After months of waiting Tyra has released the names and photos of the 13 young (ish) women deluded enough to think they have what it takes to be America's 12th next top model. You can check out the girls here.

My thoughts: this is probably one of the prettiest groups of girls we've had in a loooong time, but at the same time, it's also an overwhelmingly bland group. Almost all the girls are basically pretty (with the exception of man-faced Celia, although I can see her looking really edgy with the right makeover). But few of them really stick out to me as truly striking.

That said, I have high hopes for Fo (finally, a really gorgeous Asian model; haven't had one of those since Cycle 2's April), Isabella (she looks very raw to me), Sandra (great piercing eyes), and Teyonah (totally dragalicious, she reminds me of a skinny Keenyah from Cycle 4). I think Allison could be a huge shocker; right now she looks like a mousy mess, but the right makeover could make her totally high fashion.

Your thoughts? Cycle 12 debuts on February 25 on the CW.

Fo isnt asian...she is mexican and black...remember she called herself BLAXICAN

Absolutely right, Lou. But this was written when the girls' pictures came out, without any information. And in her photos Fo certainly has Asian-esque features. So it was an assumption on my part, and a wrong one. But I love her anyhow. She's easily in my personal Top 3 for the cycle...
