While it's commonplace for a headlining band to have an opening act for its show, the Hi-Risers will actually opening for the movie "American Graffiti," the coming-of-age film is set in a time when rock ‘n' roll bands wore suits on stage, and cruising around with the top down was the thing to do. The three-piece band picks so hard through its originals that it's damn near impossible not to grab someone to twirl around the dance floor during the set. To be on the safe side, you'd better bring a little dab of Brylcreem to smooth out the 'do after the rug-cutting hour is over.
