COUNTRY: Charlie Daniels Band (9/11)

The Charlie Daniels Band will play at the Main Street Armory on September 11, which undoubtedly means the crew will perform at least one foot-stomping ode to America and its people. In fact, Daniels, a virtuoso fiddler who released his debut album in 1971, has always prided himself on the way his music connects with the common man (and woman). Albums like 2007's "Live from Iraq" and songs like "In America" and "Still in Saigon" - and, of course, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" - have always stirred the emotions of his fans, and his latest blog post hails that most American fall ritual, the coming of football season (he's a huge University of Tennessee fan). It'll be first and 10 when the band plays the Armory.
