A three-day organ festival? What does it mean? It means it's your chance to hear some of the most amazing pipe organs in town revved up like shiny Lamborghinis, singing, shouting, wailing, whispering, and casting spells on audiences from lofts of the Paul Fritts Opus 26 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Craighead-Saunders Organ at Christ Church Episcopal, and the Wurlitzer at the Auditorium Theatre. Performers include David Higgs, Hans Davidsson, and William Porter from the Eastman School of Music. One of many highlights will be "3-3-33," a work written by Christ Church music director Stephen Kennedy. The whole event will be recorded for national broadcast on Pipedreams with Michael Barone.

The concerts take place Friday, February 13, 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park; Saturday, February 14, 7 p.m. at Christ Church, 141 East Ave.; and Sunday, February 15, 2:30 p.m. at Auditorium Theatre, 885 E Main St. All shows are free.
