Hailing from one of Sean Combs' more successful and recognizable groups, "Slim" from the group 112 has a built-in fan base. Particularly big in the late-90's and earlier this decade, the group tended to stand above stylistic peers Jagged Edge and Dru Hill, and had several hit songs on radio. The music is undeniably hip-hop/R&B in nature, but is also melded with melodic pop and dance nuances to appeal to a contemporary mainstream audience (remember "Peaches & Cream"?). Mixing in material from his group's five albums, plus his own 2008 solo album, Slim will serve up a heaping helping of slow jams and sexually charged bedroom grooves that will leave the ladies begging for more.

Dru Hill definitely stood above 112 but other than that good article
