For 30 years, Camp Good Days has inspired children with cancer and their families. With Ronnie Milsap, the not-for-profit has chosen an equally inspiring artist to help celebrate its three decades of service. Born blind in the mountains of North Carolina, Milsap was abandoned by a mother who told him that his disability was a curse from God. Since then, Milsap has become perhaps the greatest country gospel singer of all time, amassing 40 No. 1 hits, selling 25 million records, earning seven Grammys, and racking up a slew of other awards. When Milsap takes the stage it will also have special meaning for Gary Mervis, the founder of the Camp, who was so moved by the singer's "I Wouldn't Have Missed It for the World" that he played it countless times for his daughter, Teddi, as she battled a malignant brain tumor.

Ronnie Milsap performs Saturday, June 27, 8 p.m. at Kodak Theater on the Ridge, 500 W Ridge Rd. $30-$70. 624-5555.
