Pop-country mega-group Rascal Flatts is currently on something of a hot streak. The trio - vocalist Gary LeVox, guitarist Joe Don Rooney, and bassist/keyboardist Jay DeMarcus - has earned the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Group award the last eight years. Since forming a decade ago in Columbus, Ohio, the band has sold upwards of 20 million records and garnered 10 No. 1 hits. The band's ability to find crossover success has a lot to do with it, as do the high-octane, special-effects-laden live shows. Currently touring behind its sixth studio album, "Unstoppable," Rascal Flatts arrives at Darien Lake with opening act Darius Rucker, the ex-Hootie and the Blowfish headman who's immersed himself in the country world as of late.
