For this week's installment, the Skaneateles Festival's directors, pianist Elinor Freer and cellist David Ying, present a series of "I Love New York" chamber concerts. And while the music of Broadway does indeed come to Brook Farm on Saturday evening, the crown jewel of the whole affair would be the world premiere of composer Carter Pann's new work, "Songs of Summer," which celebrates life in Central New York and draws inspiration from five of the region's poets. The program also includes rarely performed compositions from the American chamber music repertoire, as well as works by European composers who were influenced by spending time in our fair state.
