Vinyl records have been in hiding since their heyday in the 60's and 70's, living secret lives in basements and attics all over the world. But once a month they come out for the Rehab Record Party, where DJs Ginnis and Calamity give praise to the stacks of wax. This Friday they're celebrating the two-year anniversary of this dance party/live show hybrid. Indie, dance rock, house, and breakbeats all get their turn on the decks, but its the live elements that give records the modern relevance they've been waiting for. Drum machines, synthesizers, live instruments, and themed visuals make each month's show unique, and make this party stand out from the rest. Not to mention all the old-school points they get.
