The Thrash and Burn Tour takes place Thursday, August 13, 3 p.m. at Water Street Music Hall.
This tour certainly promises to deliver on its title, with nothing less than an army of metal bands on the front line here in the war against not-loud music. In this battalion of supersonic soldiers trained in audio warfare are such acts as Devil Driver, Emmure, Despised Icon, My Children My Bride, Veil of Maya, For the Fallen Dreams, Oceano, Periphery, and Thy Will Be Done. Whew! With that many bands, the venue should offer an "ears bleeding or your money back" guarantee. Considering the amount of metal music you get for the ticket price, this is a can't-miss event for metal lovers.
