Despite its intimate charm, breathtaking ambience, neighborhood-y feel, and out-of-this-world homemade cakes and cookies, the Mez will unfortunately be closing its doors at the end of the month. So what better way to bid adieu to this very special venue than with a weekend's worth of free shows. Aside from the usual acoustic singer/songwriter coffeehouse fare, the Mez was always very receptive to edgier genres like noise. Thankfully, the Mezzapalooza lineup appropriately reflects the place's eclectic vibe.
