ELECTRONIC: Girl Talk (9/26)

The only newsprint-friendly way to describe Girl Talk's music is that it starts with "cluster" and ends with "uck." A few years ago, biomedical engineer and all-around brainiac Gregg Gillis applied his smarts to live audio and rode the mash-up wave all the way to the top. His shows have gotten him as much recognition as his tunes, gaining a reputation for sex-and-drug-fueled debauchery. Despite proclaiming that he was not a DJ, Gillis uses every hit song from the past few decades, chopping and mixing them just quickly enough to pique interest. Expect to hear every song you love, whether you would admit to it or not.
