When you've been through as long and storied a career as the members of KMFDM have, you know how to create awesome music. Sascha Konietzko dubs KMFDM's sound "the ultra-heavy beat" for a reason. Equal parts boot-stomping techno-dance electronics and head-thrashing heavy metal guitars, KMFDM is also no stranger to expressing political views; indeed, the band's political sloganeering coined some of the most famous phrases in the industrial world, such as "Rip the system!" The band will certainly rip your system with its sonic assault this week at Water Street. Angelspit opens.
