Dig grooves that make you move? Dig AudioInFlux. This local jazz band will be providing the soundtrack to your toe-tapping, head-nodding, sipping-on-a-cup-of-coffee kind of evening. And once the caffeine gets to you, you won't feel out of place standing up and getting down. But the caffeine has to wear off eventually, and the show will inevitably end, so the quartet is working on a studio album to keep the beat going. And when you get the CD, it'll feel as home sitting on the shelf next to Coltrane and Davis as it will next to their other influences like Zeppelin and Outkast. Sure, the sound may be different, but the passion for sonic exploration is the same. Starting (and ending) the night off right is DJ Jonathan Young.
