Principal pops conductor Jeff Tyzik will lead the RPO and featured tenor Doug LaBrecque in one of the most popular holiday concerts of the season. LaBreqcue should be familiar to the Rochester audience, having performed with Tyzik in the RPO's 4th of July Pops concert this past summer. Also featured on the program is the Festival High School Chorale, a staple of the holiday pops concert, led by Harold McAulliffe and Amy Story. Rounding out the program are violinists Daryl and Michael Perlo. The concert will offer a good mix of traditional holiday favorites. As a special treat, Mayor Duffy will be the special guest conductor on Thursday night's concert, the proceeds from which will benefit Rochester Rotary charitable programs.
