Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Thad Jones/Mel Lewis - those are just some of the big bands Marvin Stamm has played with. Smaller groups? How about the Benny Goodman Sextet, Frank Sinatra's band, Bill Evans, Wes Montgomery... the list goes on and on. Stamm is a superb trumpet player who employs his gorgeous tone and extraordinary range in perfectly shaped solos. There will be no shortage of them when he takes the stage with the Eastman Jazz Ensemble led by Bill Dobbins.
