We all know that the folks over at Eastman are consistently phenomenal at what they do. World renowned faculty members have put Eastman on the map, and the same faculty members, as a part of the ensemble Eastman Virtuosi, will be traveling to New York City to present a concert of chamber works. In anticipation of that upcoming performance, the group will be performing a portion of the program here, including the Telemann's Concerto in D, Dvorak's Piano Trio in F minor, and Poulenc's Sextet for Piano, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and Horn. The group is directed by Bonita Boyd, John Hunt, and Nicholas Goluses, and the ensemble's roster changes depending on the works that are selected.
Eastman Virtuosi Concert takes place Saturday, March 20, at 8 p.m. at Kilbourn Hall, 60 Gibbs St. Free. 274-1100
