Riddlore and MC Homeless are touring the East Coast on a self-ascribed quest to "save hip-hop from the doltish clutches of wack MCs." Considering their credentials, they'll at least be able to save you from a boring Wednesday night. Riddlore, for example, was one of the first rappers to popularize the term "freestyling" as an improv art form with Rifleman and the Freestyle Fellowship. MC Homeless, on the other hand, is a DIY artist, and sung in grindcore shows before starting his own hip-hop career, gaining attention in both his Youngstown, Ohio, hometown and internationally. If you're into hip-hop, don't miss this show.
Riddlore & MC Homeless play Wednesday, March 17 at 10 p.m. at Dubland Underground, 315 Alexander St. $5. 232-7550
