Based on the West Coast, Foster has played in the big bands of Louie Bellson, Toshiko Akiyoshi, and Clare Fischer, and in groups led by Warne Marsh, Laurindo Almeida, and Jimmy Rowles. Over the decades he's recorded with Mel Tormé, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, and many others. He'll join the mind-blowing, 70-piece Eastman Studio Orchestra led by Bill Dobbins.
