The top bands from Water Street Music Hall's annual Battle of the Bands are coming together to rock the stage again, this time in support of the release of the new DVD of the competition. The DVD will be chock full of music and more, featuring performances from every band that entered the Battle, along with photos, biographies, and studio tracks. The annual contest is specifically focused on high-school bands, giving them a chance to propel themselves into the limelight and show a captive audience what they've got. Bands scheduled to perform for the release show include Every Last Thursday, Whitecliff Drive, Oh Cassandra, 441, Yesterday's Heroes, and Vanity Strikes.
Battle of the Bands DVD Release Show takes place Sunday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Water Street Music Hall, 204 N Water St. $10-$12. 546-3887
