Looking for something different to do on your lunch break? Hochstein's Hochstein at High Falls concert series, taking place at Granite Mills Park, is the perfect way to relax in the sunshine and enjoy the performances of a variety of different Rochester area ensembles. The series kicks off with Eastman's Gamelan Lila Muni. The gamelan is the traditional ensemble of Bali and Java in Indonesia. The core of the ensemble is made up of a variety of metallophones, gongs, and drums. Gamelan Lila Muni members include faculty, staff, and students of the Eastman School, as well as members of the Rochester community. Their concerts are a blend of traditional and contemporary Balinese music and are sure to get you energize for the rest of your work day.
