If you're like me, you make your mac & cheese with hazelnut coffee creamer, and you've been waiting forever for Rochester bluesman Steve Grills to finally - finally - come out with an LP of his own. Let's cut him some slack; if you've seen the man play, you know damn well he's a perfectionist. His playing, from his referential and reverential technique down to his biting tone, is impeccable. "After Hours" showcases Grills and his band, The Roadmasters, as they take on a handful of classic blues gems. An added treat is the addition of piano legend Ernest Lane (of Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm fame) to the proceedings. Well worth the wait.
Steve Grills & the Roadmasters play Friday, July 30, 10 p.m. at Dinosaur BBQ, 99 Court St. Free. 325-7090.

Well its about time he got a cd out.....My little brother is one of the few people I know that has lived his vision with out compromise.
And in todays' music scene its too tempting not to jump on the current bandwagon just to get gigs. Stay thirsty my friends
