You can tell by the titles of his songs - "I Just Want To Get Paid," "Every Other Day I Have The Blues," and "Minutes Go Like Hours When You Sing" - that Dave Tull is not your average jazz singer. He's got a nicely cynical attitude, reminiscent of Dave Frishberg, but he can also put over a standard like Frank Sinatra. Since 2000, Tull has held the drum chair in Chuck Mangione's band, where he also provides vocals on "Children of Sanchez." You can count on excellent drumming and singing when he brings his quartet to the Strathallan.
