He is perhaps the most in-demand bassist in jazz. Over the last five decades, Jay Leonhart has played with Tony Bennett, Marian McPartland, Jim Hall, and too many others to list. In the pop world he has lent his talents to a variety of performers ranging from James Taylor to Ozzy Osbourne to Queen Latifah. He has recorded15 albums as a leader and literally thousands as a side man. And in recent decades he has built a strong reputation for his comedic side in one-man shows like "The Bass Lesson" and "Nukular Tulips." He'll be bringing all facets of his career with him to the Strathallan.
