Just when summer's about over and you think there's nothing to do, chamber concerts are popping up like dragonflies at pond's edge. My pick this week is an evening of music inspired by water, opening with Debussy's dreamy "Reflections in Water" played by pianist Maya Hartman. RPO concertmaster Juliana Athayde joins pianist Jon Nakamatsu in Brahms' luscious Sonata for Violin and Piano in G major, Op. 78. Last on the program is Franz Schubert "Trout" Quintet with Nakamatsu and string players Elisa Barston, Edward Klorman, Amy Sue Barston, and Dennis Whitaker.
