Some people just watch. Others like to jump right in. For those who think participation is infinitely preferable to passivity, this week's Eastman Summer Sings event gives you the chance to perform Mozart's "Requiem" without putting on a tuxedo. When you walk in the door, you'll get a copy of the music and the chance to make a donation. Find a seat and follow along. There will be people there who know the piece very well, and a conductor, William Weinert, to hold it all together. Top-notch soloists include Elizabeth Phillips, soprano; Lauren Iezzi, mezzo-soprano; Pablo Bustos, tenor; and Joseph Finetti, bass.
