For those who don't celebrate Christmas, the December 25 is always a scheduling hassle. Options are limited to ordering Chinese food, heading to the movie theater, or sadly spying on your neighbors as they rip the wrapping paper off their new Nintendo system. For those who want to get out of the house on Christmas Day, the JCC sponsors its Family Day. Look for activities in the gym, family swimming, and arts and crafts. So, if you're not sick of your family yet, you can bond with them over something that isn't a half-eaten order of sesame chicken.
The JCC Family Day takes place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 1200 Edgewood Avenue. The event is free and open to the public. Call 461-2000 ext 289 for more information.
