The next Mix & Mingle takes place Thursday, March 5, at Tapas 177.
It's easy to meet people in this town - but they're not always the people you want to meet. Sometimes you have to go outside your comfort zone (read: to a different pub) to make connections that could lead to things like paying work. The Rochester Young Professionals group hosts a "Mix & Mingle" event that helps you do just that. It's meant to put you together with like-minded people who could potentially connect you with local companies and opportunities. Ideally, you might have something to offer them, too.
The next Mix & Mingle takes place Thursday, March 5, at Tapas 177 (177 St. Paul St.), 5-8 p.m., so for once you can forego your usual happy hour and hit this one instead. For $5, you get a free cocktail, drink specials, and appetizers. RSVP to Jenna Buker, 241-4421, jennab@grcarc.org.
