DANCE EVENT: Rochester Salsa Weekend (4/24-4/26)

No one is left out when Rochester Salsa Weekend comes around. Novice, intermediate, and advanced dancers can benefit from workshops for dances such as the salsa, cha-cha, mambo, and bachata. And for those who simply love to watch others shake it, a show on Saturday night featuring some of Rochester's leading dance companies should provide plenty of entertainment. If you have the confidence to show off your moves in front of tons of people, you can do that on Inikori's huge dance floor after the show. The party doesn't stop until 4 a.m. with DJ E and DJ Frankie as added entertainment.

Rochester Salsa Weekend will take place Friday, April 24, to Sunday, April 26, at the Inikori Dance Studio, 1060 University Ave. Tickets range from $25 to $175, and can be purchased by phone at 271-6840, or in person at the studio.
