"Lord of the Dance" takes place Friday, May 8 at the Auditorium Theatre.
Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance has been credited with helping to catapult Irish dance onto the worldwide stage since its debut in 1996. The discipline involves feet moving rapidly through intricate dance steps while the dancer's arms are kept dead-locked at the side. The show also tells a story: Lord of the Dance is about good vs. evil, mainly expressed through the dancing itself.
