Though it's no fun to search for your own keys when you lose them, the thousand keys hidden throughout the 19th Ward neighborhood will give you better rewards when found. It's the 19th Ward's 4th annual Treasure Hunt, and if you find one of the keys (pictured), hang onto it. It'll get you free French bread at the Tops on West Ave, discounted coffee at Boulder, and a free book at the Arnett Library's book sale. Plus, bring the key to the 19th Ward Square Fair on Saturday, June 6, for your shot at one of 41 prizes donated by local sponsors. The fair also includes a parade, book and plant sale, children's activities, live music, and food. Go to 19thwardtreasurehunt.com for details.

Our family LOVES living in the 19th ward and we are looking forward to this year's fair and treasure hunt. I'm delighted to see Boulder Coffee, our newest hotspot, joining the ranks of our fun, community sponsored get-togethers, and we are eagerly awaiting the start of our own Farmer's Market on Tuesdays from 4-8 at Saint Monica's. Thank you, to all of the folks in the 19th ward community association, our beautiful neighbors, and Treasure Hunt mastermind Dan Demarle for making our little piece of Rochester an even greater place to be! If only there was a little playground on Aberdeen Square, my life as a parent would be perfect . . . .

Square Fair has been a must for us for about 30 years - very fun neighborhood event, Thanks for mentioning it.

The treasure hunt ends Saturday at Square Fair, so there is still time to solve the puzzle and claim some keys, let alone get some great food and see the parade

Square Fair is a great neighborhood based festival, not as crowded and commercial as the larger festivals but with the same excitement and activity. The treasure hunt adds another great activity, and by the way, the Parade is back this year. Don't miss it.
