Ever wonder what Rochester tastes like? Find out at this year's Taste of Rochester event, going on Friday, June 26, through Sunday, June 28. This is one summer festival that's all about the food, and this year's list of nearly 40 vendors won't disappoint.
Admission is free, but you'll have to buy tickets to trade for food from local favorites like Nick Tahou's, Abbotts Frozen Yogurt, Red Osier, and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, and from other local restaurants, like Bellini's, Taste of Texas, and Byblos Café. There will be beer and wine gardens on hand if you need something to wash down all those tasty morsels. This year's festival will also feature live entertainment and music, including a newly added kids zone, complete with children's performers and a petting zoo.
The festival will run Friday noon-11 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on East Main Street in downtown Rochester. For more information, visit tasteofrochester.net.
