The Irish Dance Competition takes place July 11 at the Riverside Convention Center.
There are many things we can thank the Irish for - St. Patrick's Day, tasty soda bread, Celtic music, and step dancing. You can check out who has the luck o' the Irish this Saturday, July 11, at the 38th Annual Rochester Feis. The feis, which comes from the Irish word for "festival", will feature a traditional Irish dance competition, as well as several other contests for the best in art, needlework, singing, and soda bread baking.
This year's event will be held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, located at 123 East Main Street, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Spectator tickets are $10. For registration and other information, visit feisweb.com/Rochester.
