The third annual and "Fight With Love" musical revue comes to Geva Theatre this weekend. All proceeds from the show will go to the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS charity, which aims to increase awareness and public support for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The scenes and songs of selected for "Fight With Love" feature the struggles and joys people encounter in relationships with our family, friends, lovers, and ourselves. The program is completely designed and performed by Rochester-area high-school and college students. Note that each year's show features different songs and scenes, so if you attended last year you won't see the same show twice.
"Fight With Love" takes place Friday and Saturday, August 7-8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Geva Theatre Center Nextstage (75 Woodbury Blvd.). Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at area Wegmans locations, or at the door. For more information check twc-wny.com/fightwithlove.
