KIDS: Imagination Movers (11/4)

By Alysa Stryker on October 28, 2009

The Imagination Movers are a self-described combination of the Beastie Boys with a splash of Mr. Rogers. Intrigued yet? The kid-friendly group takes all of the ingredients of children's songs and shakes them up a bit by adding catchy pop riffs and a sound much like an MTV pop countdown. They sing about the cares of a kid: messy rooms, healthy snacks, and sibling rivalries. The clever team has made their mark on the music scene with 14 national music awards, and airplay on National Satellite Radio and Radio Disney.

The Imagination Movers come to the Auditorium Theatre (885 E Main St.) Wednesday, November 4, with shows at 2 & 6 p.m. Tickets cost $17.50-$37.50. For more information on the show visit rbtl.org or call 232-1900; for information on the Imagination Movers visit imaginationmovers.com.
