"Take the Chill Out of Winter" happens on Sunday, November 15 at Cumming Nature Center.
As the winter slowly approaches, this weekend the Cumming Nature Center will be taking the chill out of the air by collecting warm clothing items to give to local charities. Bring any new or gently used jackets, hats, boots, mittens, or gloves directly to the nature center, and add your name to the center's "thanksgiving wall."
This weekend will also be the last chance to browse around the 900-acre environmental center, and take a walk through six miles of trails and wetlands before it closes for six weeks.
The Cumming Nature Center is located at 6472 Gulick Road in Naples, and the collection event runs Sunday, November 15, noon-4 p.m. For more information call 374-6160 or check out rmsc.org/CummingNatureCenter.
