Buster Keaton, Stanley Kubrick, Marilyn Monroe, Uma Thurman, Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski - this odd mix of characters is just the beginning of a much larger list of artists, musicians, writers, and film stars that local artist Jay Lincoln has chosen as subjects for his paintings.
Chances are you've seen Lincoln's caricature-style works hanging at The Little Theatre or Boulder Coffee. New work by Lincoln, including a painting (pictured) of Lux Interior (recently deceased) and Poison Ivy of The Cramps, is now on display at Lux Lounge (666 South Ave). The exhibit is ongoing.
