The nonprofit organization TYKEs (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy) is dedicated to theater that makes children simultaneously learn and laugh. To kick of its latest season, TYKEs will present "Click, Clack, Moo," an adaptation of the award-winning children's book by Doreen Cronin. The musical entertains and educates, following Farmer Brown while he works hard to uncover the secret of the typing cows on his spread, who are sick of their working conditions. Together the farmer and his cows learn the perks of compromise and cooperation (and, presumably, double-spacing).
The production will run Saturday and Sunday, December 12-13, at the Jewish Community Center, 1200 Edgewood Ave. Performance times are 1 and 3:30 p.m. daily, and tickets cost $14. Call 723-6080 for more info or go to tykestheatre.org.
