This year, it's all about finding the perfect gift while saving on some green. If you've had your eye on any particular items from the stores on Park Avenue, venture out to the business district's Holiday Open House on Thursday, December 3. More than 50 Park Ave businesses will offer special discounts, free samples, and prize drawings throughout the evening.
For the non-shop-a-holics, there will be live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, a Christmas tree lighting, ice sculpture demonstrations, and costumed characters at various locations. If you're coming out with the kids, check out the arts and crafts tent, or visit with Santa at 600 Park Ave 5:30-9 p.m.
The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with the opening ceremony at the Park Avenue Green on Barrington Street, and will come to a close at 9 p.m. For more info go to park-avenue.org or call 524-4542.
