Sideshow Potluck

When artist Casey Kelbaugh invited some friends to his backyard in Seattle for a potluck dinner and art slideshow in 2000, he had no idea it would blossom into a full-scale art event put on all over the world, from Milan to Barcelona to L.A. This week, the Slideluck Potshow - a jumbled combination of the event's two main attractions, a slideshow and potluck - makes a stop at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center (137 East Ave) this week.
More than 50 artists and photographers from the upstate New York region will join attendees for a home-cooked meal and, of course, a slideshow of artwork. On Friday, January 22, dinner, drinks and mingling will start at 7 p.m., and the slideshow will run 9-11 p.m. (don't worry, there's an intermission).
