Stephen Lynch, a self-proclaimed "musician trapped in a comedian's body", will be bringing his own unique brand of comedy to the University of Rochester on Friday, January 29 at 9 p.m.

Whether he's gleefully singing an ode to an ailing grandfather (an the inheritance his death will surely bring) or setting the record straight about who he is ("I'm not a fucking jukebox"), Lynch has been turning heads on the music and comedy scene since early 2000. His songs, though humorous, are actually well-sung - Lynch originally began his career as a musician in New York City.

Tickets to the show, which is a special stop on his "3 Balloons" tour, are $7 for U of R students (with ID) and $20 general admission. For tick3ets or more information, visit rochester.edu or call 275-5911.
